H1 Title: Terms and Conditions - Win your Share of $5000 Competition

  1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the nib "Win your share of $5000” competition offered by the Promoter (“Competition”).
  2. Information on how to enter and information on Prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  4. The Competition commences at 12:01 am on 1/11/2015 (AEST) and closes at 11.59 pm (AEST) on 13/12/2015 (“Competition Period”).

    5. Eligibility of Entry

  5. Entry into the Competition is only open to permanent residents or citizens of Australia, aged 18 years or older. Entry is not limited to customers that have received an email from nib promoting the Competition. (“Eligible Entrant”).
  6. Entry into the Competition is done by completing an online submission at https://nib.we.com.au/win5000. To enter simply fill in the online form with your first name, last name, email address, nib customer number (if applicable), best contact number, where your next big adventure or dream holiday is and explain why in 25 words or less.
  7. Entries will be deemed to have been received by the Promoter at the time of receipt into World Nomads’ database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.
  8. All entries must meet the following conditions:
    • the entry must be the entrant’s original work and not breach copyright or other intellectual property rights of any third party; and
    • the entry must not use offensive or derogatory language

      • Entries will be disqualified for breach of any of these conditions.

  9. Eligible Entrants may submit only one (1) entry and any additional or other submissions or entries will not be entered in the Competition and will not be considered for the Prize.

    10. Prize, Prize Draw & Redemption

  10. The Prize pool consists of Five (5) x one thousand Australian dollars (AU$1000) (“Prize”). The total monetary value of the Prize pool is AU$5000.
  11. The Five (5) most creative and original entries will each win One (1) of the Prizes of AU$1000. The Five (5) winning entries will be selected based on the creativity and originality of their entry.
  12. The judging of all qualifying entries received during the Competition Period from Eligible Entrants will take place on Wednesday 13/01/2016 between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm (AEDT) at the offices of World Nomads at Level 21, 680 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000.
  13. The winning entrants will be selected by the Promoter’s Group Executive, International and New Business.
  14. The Prize winners will be contacted via phone on the same day as judging, at which point their nominated bank account in Australia will be requested to conduct the money transfer. No cheques or other payment arrangements will be available by the Promoter. The name of Prize winners will be published on 14/01/2016 at the nib website at www.nib.com.au/nib-news (refer to Privacy consent below).
  15. If necessary, the Promoter may judge runner-up entries for unclaimed Prizes on Wednesday 20/01/2016 between 7:00am and 4:00pm (AEDT) at the offices of World Nomads at Level 21, 680 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 in order to distribute the unclaimed Prize(s). All non-winning entries from the original judging will be included in the runner-up judging. The winner of any unclaimed Prize will be contacted via phone by 5:00pm (AEST) on the same day as judging, at which point their nominated bank account in Australia will be requested to conduct the money transfer.
  16. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, or use of the prize. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant authority) modify the Competition.

    17. Privacy

  17. World Nomads Group will collect personal information from entrants in order to conduct the Competition. If the information is not provided, the entrant may not be able to submit an entry in the Competition or claim a Prize and their entry may be discarded. It is a condition of entry into the Competition that the Prize winner consents to the publication of their name and city of residence in any advertisements or articles relating to the Competition or the Prize and participates in any media release which may include a photograph of the Prize winner. By entering into the Competition, the entrant consents to the use of their name and likeness for this purpose. The Promoter’s Privacy policy sets out information on how you can access or correct your personal information and how you may complain about a breach of privacy. A copy is available at www.nib.com.au. World Nomad Group’s Privacy policy is available at https://nib.we.com.au/privacy.
  18. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions or complaints about the Competition must be sent to the Promoter and not to World Nomads Group.
  19. Employees and contractors of the Promoter and World Nomads Group and each of their immediate families are not eligible to enter into the Competition.
  20. The Promoter is nib health funds limited (ABN 83 000 124 381) 20 Honeysuckle Drive, Newcastle, 2300. “World Nomads Group” means World Nomads Group Pty Limited at Level 21, 680 George St, Sydney, NSW 2000, a related entity of the Promoter.
